Eat some protein every day – good sources include meat, fish, poultry, eggs, beans, pulses and nuts. Choose lean meat if you can, remove the skin from poultry and cook it using only a little fat. And if you eat fish, try to eat two portions a week, including a portion of oily fish such as salmon, sardines or mackerel.
